What a slower, more careful approach to AI education makes possible
Speed is not the constraint most learners need to optimise for. Lotus Studio is built around a different assumption: that the time spent understanding something properly is rarely wasted.
Back to HomeSix reasons learners choose Lotus Studio
Each advantage reflects a deliberate choice about what good AI education actually requires.
Curriculum built on foundations
Rather than beginning with frameworks and moving backwards when confusion arises, our programmes start from first principles and build forward. Learners who complete a Lotus Studio programme understand why things work, not just how to use them.
Grounded in research literature
The generative AI programme and research pathway engage directly with the papers that introduced and shaped the field. This is unusual in commercial AI education and produces a qualitatively different kind of understanding.
Instructors who teach, not scripts
Course content is developed and delivered by the instructors themselves. Learner questions reach the people who designed the programme, not a support team working from a FAQ document.
Honest about prerequisites
Each programme describes clearly who it is suited for. We do not enrol learners into material they are not ready for — that saves time and avoids the frustration of discovering a mismatch after payment.
Self-paced without being unsupported
Learners work through material at their own pace, which matters enormously when the content is genuinely difficult. That flexibility is combined with structured access to instructor guidance throughout the programme.
Straightforward, transparent pricing
Programme prices are listed in Thai Baht and include everything. There are no module fees, access tiers, or add-ons required to complete the programme as described. What you see is what the programme costs.
A closer look at each advantage
Teaching expertise that runs deep
Professional ExpertisePranee Lertkul, who leads programme design, spent fifteen years as a mathematics lecturer before building Lotus Studio's curriculum. That background shapes how material is sequenced and explained — the pacing, the choice of examples, the decision about which abstractions to introduce early and which to defer. These choices are not arbitrary; they come from watching many learners work through the same difficulties over many years.
Thanapat Suwannarat, who leads the generative AI programme, brings applied research experience alongside his teaching work. He is familiar with the literature at a working level, which means he can explain not just what a paper says but what choices the authors were navigating when they wrote it.
- Curriculum developed by working specialists
- Teaching experience spanning 15+ years
- Content informed by ongoing engagement with the field
Current methods, not historical snapshots
Technology & InnovationThe Generative AI and Diffusion Models programme is built around methods that are active areas of development in the field. The papers and frameworks covered were selected because they represent how practitioners actually work with these systems today, not because they are well-established enough to feel safe to include.
Programmes are reviewed twice a year to catch developments that have shifted the landscape meaningfully. When something changes in a way that affects what a working understanding of the field requires, the curriculum is updated. We describe when each programme was last revised so learners know what they are getting.
- Biannual curriculum review cycle
- Exercises using current open-source tooling
- Content sourced from active research, not aged summaries
Support that reaches the right people
Learner SupportQuestions and difficulties are handled by the instructors responsible for the programme, not routed through a general support inbox. This matters because the kind of question that arises when you are working through a proof or debugging an implementation often requires contextual understanding that only the course designer actually has.
The AI Research Pathway includes scheduled one-to-one mentorship sessions with Nattida Wongchai, arranged at a time that suits the learner. Those sessions are substantive — focused on the learner's specific research questions and the particular challenges they have encountered.
Pricing that reflects what is included
Value & PricingLotus Studio charges ฿2,700 for Mathematics for AI, ฿5,600 for Generative AI and Diffusion Models, and ฿8,200 for the AI Research Pathway. These figures include everything described in the programme — materials, exercises, and where applicable, mentorship. There are no additional fees to access resources, submit work for feedback, or receive support during the programme.
We do not offer tiered access where a lower price buys a diminished experience. If a learner enrols in a programme, they have full access to what it contains from the start.
What learners are able to do afterwards
OutcomesLearners who complete Mathematics for AI can work through the mathematical sections of ML papers without needing to look up every other term. They have a stable foundation to bring to more advanced study. Learners who complete the Generative AI programme can read and critically engage with new papers in the diffusion model space, and implement core components from scratch using established frameworks.
Learners on the Research Pathway develop an original research contribution — small in scope, but genuinely their own — and the communication practices needed to present it. Several have gone on to submit to workshops at regional and international AI conferences.

Distinctive features of the Lotus Studio approach
The only Bangkok-based school with a dedicated AI research pathway
The AI Research Pathway is the only structured programme of its kind offered by a Bangkok-based AI school. It supports learners who are moving toward graduate study or independent research, rather than stopping at practitioner-level application.
Paper-first curriculum design
Rather than abstracting away from the research literature, the Generative AI programme places the original papers at the centre of instruction. This is an unusual approach in commercial AI education and reflects a considered judgment about what lasting understanding requires.
Three programmes that build on each other
Mathematics for AI, Generative AI and Diffusion Models, and the AI Research Pathway form a coherent progression. Learners can move through all three as their understanding and goals develop, without needing to change schools or rebuild context.
Designed for learners in Southeast Asia
Pricing is set in Thai Baht, support operates on Bangkok time, and the team understands the context in which most of our learners are studying. This is not a global platform with a Bangkok contact address — it is a school that was founded and operates here.
